Happy Memories of the Decoration Parade

 
 

This is Frederick Haupert and his daughter Ruth in front of their home on 41st Street in Sunnyside  after marching in the Decoration Day Parade.
Mr. Haupert was a long time member of the Blissville Post # 727. He and his daughter would proudly march in the parade each year with the Blissville Post each carrying the America flag. Ruth was always dressed in red, white and blue, this is a happy memory Ruth has been gracious to share with us.
