This photo was found in 1997 in the belongings of Louise Leahy.
Frank Leahy - This is a photo of Frank Leahy who worked as a postal letter
carrier in Woodside from 1912 to 1946.  The photo was taken about 1913.  While delivering mail at P.S. 10, he met one of the teachers, Louise Huther, whom he married in 1913.  P.S. 10 was a 2-room school house in Corona.  Frank grew up in Corona and Louise grew up on Skillman Avenue in Sunnyside.  A few years later, they moved to 44-16 Skillman Ave. to a house that her father owned.  They lived in that house on Skillman Avenue for over forty years had four children.
