Teachers & Scholars at All Saints

The All Saint's Church located in Monroe Court Community Center, Sunnyside Gardens celebrated its first birthday November 9th, 1929. This group was first under the leadership of the Rev. W.W. Ellisworth. For the past 6 months the Rev. Victor H. Loope has been in charge of this new organization of the Long Island Diocese. The Sunday School started with a membership of sixteen boys and girls. There are now seventy-eight scholars in the classes of the school. This picture above seems to indicate that they are a happy group and are enjoying their religious instructions. The finance committee of he church recently passed a budget if $5000.00 for the year. This budget anticipated the necessity of moving to larger quarters.
