The Home of the Eastern Roller Derby

This was now in the mid-fifties, the Sunnyside Garden also called its self the "Sunnyside Garden Ballroom". It advertised space for social functions, wedding receptions, dinner-dances, luncheons, exhibits and bazaars. One of the biggest events that brought people from all over New York to the Garden was in 1960 when John F. Kennedy held his presidential rally here.
