Kiwanis Working to Help a Child in Need

The Sunnyside Kiwanis members pumped gas, check oil, and helped put air in tires at the 43 Street & Queens Blvd. Mobil station. It was there way of raising money to help a young boy who recently lost a leg in a accident. This group raised enough money to pay for the artificial leg for the young boy, that his family could not afford. (circa 1962)
