The Sunnyside chapter meets twice per month with the exception of July
and August. Meetings are held at Saint Theresa's Church, 44 Street &
50 Avenue, Woodside, Meetings start at 12 noon.

SENIOR SERVICES: WELL & FRAIL ELDERLY
|
The Sunnyside Senior Center provides services for the well and frail elderly. The Center enables the well and Frail elderly to connect to a warm human community and maintain control of their lives as they negotiate the changes inherent in the aging process. Volunteer participation in all programs helps the Center achieve its goals while providing opportunities for senior to feel useful and needed as they help others.

A wide range of activities including exercise and dancercise, meditation, ballroom dancing, bingo, creative, writing, Billiards and cards swimming, flea market, arts and crafts, movies, singing group, discussions, group (e.g., coffee klatch, homebound support, and visual impairment support), trips including local and up 5 overnights in The New York City and the tri-state area, and special celebrations (e.g., birthday and holiday parties, concerts and performances)
When: The Center is open Monday through Friday from 9AM-5PM
