They stock over 2000 bolts of top designer 100% cotton fabrics, notions, books, threads, yarns & needlework supplies. They currently offer day, evening & weekend classes from beginner to advanced in Quilting, Sewing, Knitting & Crocheting. Children's Quilting and Sewing classes are also available from ages 8-14. Close to 100 beautiful quilts help decorate the walls of the store; owner Margie Givney did many, along with her staff and her students. This store is well worth a visit we will also remind you of the Pennsylvania Dutch Amish Quilts. The Amish and Mennonite women of the Pennsylvania Dutch Country have been creating exquisite quilted masterpieces since the mid-1800's. Amish quilts are an expression of frugality. Quilts not only serve a practical, functional purpose, but serve as a form of entertainment as well. Many times groups of people gather for a quilting bee. The bee is a form of socialization and relaxation for these men and women.
