Every Community should have its own Castle, and Sunnyside boasts this one.  White Castle reopened its Sunnyside restaurant on July 18th, 1946, Since then it has remodeled the building about four times. The current building is bright, cheerful and even  boasts a drive through window to better serve it customers.
On a personal note I would like to thank the White Castle people for being part of the community. Many large chains do not get involved in the community they do there business in, the White Castle people know and support their neighborhood. They are our good neighbors.
